The 6 inch round KC Daylighter® Long Range Kit with Spot Beam pattern is manufactured and assembled in the United States. The Daylighter® can be used with 100 watt, 130 watt, or 150 watt halogen bulbs. These bulbs are great for long range visibility. They also come in stainless steel, chrome, or black coated finish. The importance of this filament is the reaction between the halogen gas and the filament, which produces a chemical reaction. This re-deposits evaporated tungsten right back onto the actual filament permitting it to burn brighter and hotter than conventional tungsten filament bulbs.
  • The tungsten filament bulbs also address the issue of overloading the alternator and battery while running many lights at the same time by providing more lumens per watt to prevent it from happening
  • Unlike other tungsten filament bulbs, the Quartz Halogen bulbs provide a much more consistent output over their useful life and don’t get dimmer as they get older.
  • The Quartz Halogen bulbs are replaceable
  • The 100 watt Quartz Halogen bulb has 200,000 candlepower beam per light
  • The 130 watt Quartz Halogen bulb has 285,000 candlepower beam per light
  • Useful for off-road lighting
  • There is also a choice of titanium lights which have 300,000 candlepower beam per light
