The Daylighter has a reflector/lens combination that is extremely efficient.  That, in combination with the shock mount has made it an off road racer favorite for decades.  This light has an ability to cushion the fragile tungsten filament that allows it to have an extremely long life even while being used in the harshest conditions.  This is a great lighting choice for heavy equipment or other industrial uses as well as for anything that requires a vehicle to move after the sun goes down.

These lights have optional 130W bulbs that will give a maximum amount of light where ever you aim the beams.  You can get the spread pattern in a driving pattern or a pencil beam for long range.  Housing choices include a polished stainless that is resistant to corrosion, a lustrous chrome plating or a rugged black painted housing.

In this industry, the standard is quartz-halogen bulbs and that standard is set by KC HiLites.  These bulbs combine and then pressurize various gases in the bulb in order to scavenge any possible evaporated tungsten inside the bulb which then allows the filament to operate at a temperature that is both higher and more efficient so that the resulting light is whiter and brighter.

In turn, this necessitates the use of a quartz glass that is rated for higher temperatures.  These bulbs will produce an output over their entire life span that is more consistent than any other traditional tungsten bulb.  Tungsten bulbs actually have a tendency to dim with age – but not these.  In addition, these bulbs give you more lumens per watt which will prevent the alternator and battery from overloading when you happen to be running a truck load of lights all at the same time.

These lights are easy to install and come with a 23 year warranty.
